Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Job Agent (“we”, “us”) for using the Job Agent website, browser extension and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Job Agent
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account.
2. What the Service does
Job Agent finds job postings, scores how well they match you, drafts tailored resumes, cover letters and messages, and fills in employer application forms. It only submits an application after you approve it, and some employer sites require you to finish and submit yourself.
3. Your responsibilities
- Accuracy. Everything you provide must be true. Review every document and answer before you approve it — you are responsible for what is submitted in your name.
- Honest use. Don’t use the Service to misrepresent your identity, qualifications or eligibility, or to submit applications for someone else without their permission.
- Third-party sites. Employer sites, job boards and LinkedIn have their own terms. You are responsible for following them. Job Agent does not create accounts on other sites for you or get around their security checks.
- No misuse. Don’t attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, bypass usage limits, or use it for anything unlawful.
4. AI-generated content
Matches, documents and drafts are produced with AI and may contain mistakes. They are suggestions for you to review and edit, not professional career, legal or immigration advice.
5. No guarantee of results
We can’t promise interviews, offers or that any employer will receive or review an application. Job listings come from third parties and may be inaccurate or out of date.
6. Your content
You own the information and documents you provide. You give us permission to store, process and use them only to provide the Service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Documents we generate for you are yours to use.
7. Usage limits and changes
We may set daily limits, change features, or suspend the Service for maintenance. We’ll try to give notice of significant changes.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the Service or others at risk.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Job Agent will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (or US$50 if you paid nothing).
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If changes are significant we will notify you; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
